I bought a vitamix 2 years ago. Make a morning smoothie almost everyday. Usually a mango, organic apple, 3 tbs organic chia, 2 cups organic kale, one cup water. Probably 300 calories. Same as a bowl of cereal and milk. The thing is, if not for the blender I wouldnt eat the fruit and greens.

Smoothies take away the chewing so its easier to get way too much. Otherwise, you just have to watch out for that. Also, there is good and bad cholesterol. So you can't just say cholesterol. HDL vs LDL would be more specific.

I use mine daily. I can use it for breakfast along with a flip top lid that I can use in the car for for a quick and easy lunch after a ride. I would say the main benefit is that I eat a lot of greens that I wouldn’t otherwise eat.

I briefly discussed the same thing with him. Full fat dairy is only 'healthy' in the context of a diet that includes dairy milk (an entirely unnecessary component of a human diet) where 'healthy' means having a better balance of fat, protein, and sugar. Low fat dairy has a higher proportion of sugar to fat and protein (but far fewer calories as a result) so by that simple metric is less 'healthy'. Why any substance intended to fatten newborn calves quickly is considered a 'healthy' choice for an adult human is beyond me, but that's where we are.

Are these Nutribullets and their clones, any more powerful than a "normal" blender?
I am wondering if there is something about them that I am not getting, that makes them better smoothy makers than a traditional blender?

What type of frying pan do you use: cast iron, stainless steal, aluminum, copper? Does one fry your eggs better than the other? If it matters to you then it matters. Otherwise, it doesn't matter. I hope this answers your question.

I usually have bacon for up to the first two weeks of a month, I just don't eat it all at once. Crackers or faugosa bread (cheese and peppers) are some of my downfall...
