Hello all I just purchased a expert carbon and the front disc brake mounting points shows sign of damage. The lbs say that specialized had tightened the mounting bolts to tight and the paint had peeled back. My question is this seen on your bike or has anyone else seen this happen on their Sirrus? Can you please post a photo of your front disc brake?

From the photos the fork end looks like they dropped the bike, which leads me to think they did damage the bike and have not brought this to my attention. Also the bike is a 2016 model. I am waiting to hear back from LBS with a reply from Specialized.

Added a different set of tires went with schwable durano 700x28c. These tires seem to have what i was looking for. Didnt care for the gatorskins. Gave them to wife.

My next quest is to change spoke color. I need to find out what spokes i can use and then choose a color.... I cant say enough good things about these tires. On the other hand i got my wife a vita carbon elite for her birthday. Just got to sale her trek slx thats only 3 months old. Any ides on spokes and colors lets hear them
