Specialized Pitch COMP vs EXPERT

I am just starting doing mountain biking and been looking for bikes. After looking at Trek Marlin 7, Specialized Pitch Comp and Specialized Pitch Expert, I narrowed it down to Spec Comp and Expert. The difference in price between Comp and Expert is $100. Does it worth to get the Expert for $100 more? Below are the main differences.

Specialized COMP
  • Fork: SR Suntour XCM w/MCD 27.5, coil spring, custom Multi-Circuit damping, 80/100mm travel (size-specific)AxlesFront: 9x100mm
  • Front Derailleur: Shimano Altus FD-M370, 34.9mm clamp, top-swing
  • Rear Derailleur: Shimano Acera 9-speed
  • Cassette/Rear CogsSunrace, 9-speed, 11-34t
  • Shifters: Shimano Acera, 3x9
  • Brakes: Shimano BR-M315, hydraulic disc, resin pads

Specialized EXPERT
  • Fork:SR Suntour XCR 32 27.5, coil spring, custom Multi-Circuit damping, 80/100mm travel (size-specific)AxlesFront: 9x100mm
  • Front Derailleur:Shimano Altus FD-M370, 34.9mm clamp, top-swing
  • Rear Derailleur:Shimano Deore 9-speed
  • Cassette/Rear CogsSunrace, 9-speed, 11-34t
  • Shifters:Shimano Acera, 3x9
  • BrakesShimano BR-M315, hydraulic disc, resin pads

Any thoughts or suggestion?

Thank you.

The Specialized web site says both the comp and expert Pitch have coil spring forks. the first bike they show with air spring is the Rockhopper expert for another $125 more than the Pitch expert.
