Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is this jersey awful?

I don't own any jerseys (I've always thought they were a bit pretentious unless you're racing) but am doing more and more semi-serious riding and figure I should think about investing in some.

I really just want some plain black ones but I don't see many of those around.

That is not appropriate for "semi-serious riding"

That is more for "formal-serious riding."

Nashbar has a white tee shirt with pocket in the back.

That would be for "casual-serious riding or "informal-serious riding."

You could wear when you pick up your prom date on your bike. Then take it over some sweet jumps.

(Am I the only one who thinks that bike jerseys in yellow should only be won? And they should never be available in XXL.)

is the jersey awful? not so much when it's on. there's a guy who races here in that get up. you can always spot him out of the crowd.

That is the most awesome jersey I have ever seen. Way better than those every sq mm logo jerseys people wear everyday.
