hey everyone:
just moved here from the bay area.
left/sold everything i had, including my mtb, but that's ok. looking to get into road/fixed gear riding, so if anyone has some suggestions/advice i would greatly appreciate it!
i'm a newb so any advice is good advice.

i've been running across the bridge and i want to get a bike quick like.
i see a bunch of ppl riding, especially them hipsters over on the north side.
maybe you can help me out, or if and when i get my bike, we can go ride sometime...maybe you can show me the nice trails/paths to ride in nyc.

im in brooklyn too. manhattan beach. realllll south.. cheap rent and big place 
there are a few places in w'burg to look.. and the lower east side.. lots and lots and lots of bike places here now.
