Feather Brakes anyone?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

KCNC's are the go-to budget brake for WW's. Feather doesn't get anything done for us, other than cost more, weigh more and look uglier.

I have the same thing as the pix you posted. Made by MR Control, Taiwan. Got them from a shop in Italy via scambay. If I ever take the bike to Aisa they will have made a complete trip around the world.

They work fine once you get them dialed in. Pretty light. If you remove the front wheel you have to screw down the cable screw and unhook the cable. Kind of like with Mt. bike rim brakes.

feather brakes seem pointless...like BT said, KCNC is the way to go. lighter...cheaper...arguably better looking...proven stopping power...proven quality modulation.
