Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The hot potential is significant. Very nice bike.

All that said, that's a very nice bike!!

How do you like those tires? I ran them for a little bit, but fell out of love with them quickly. I found them to be very durable, and handled well on loose terrain, but were heavy and slow-rolling on pavement.

What top tube bag is that? I'm looking for a small one like that to use for snacks during events.

I’ll get a better shot. The sun and shadows don’t help and you can’t really see the paint. It’s less a black bike than dark grey with a lot of sparkle in the paint.

The above Cannondale is nicely done. I have an affinity for orange bikes. Just me, but I would lose the light blue bar tape for black, gray or orange.

Bags, bottles, lights are heat-stealers. The bar tape color doesn't work with anything else. Crank arm and valve stems are misaligned. The setting is really good, though.

The blue bar tape was inspired by my favourite old race car, Porsche 917 in Gulf Oil livery.

Put some Gulf decals on the rims and you should be good to go. If you're in the Southeast, go with STP decals instead. People will think you're the King.

It looks similar to one I have on my Bianchi- a Lezyne Aero Caddy this might be just what you need. They also have a slightly larger Caddy version. Topeak also makes one although it's larger with much more capacity I put one on my gravel bike. Can't tell from the pic what brand that one is.
Hope this helps.

Hmmm...the shape of that one looks different than the Lezyne of Topeak bags. I'm basically looking for the smallest bolt-on bag I can find. Almsthre and Rogue Panda are possible candidates, at the moment.

IRC boken Doublecross. I love the tires and disagree about slow rolling. They are 42s and they feel much faster than the 35 sk plus gravelkings I had previously. Those felt like a brick, and I was dragging a tractor tire, and leaked profusely thru the sidewalls.

top tube bag is from NINER. Cant recall model name.

If you're happy with the tires, that's great. I've tried a bunch of different things and have landed on a combination of Tufo Swampero (F) and Tufo Thundero (R). I really like the pairing of a grippy tire up front and fast tire in the rear.

My current gravel bike is a Niner, so that bag would have been a great choice. Unfortunately, it's discontinued. I found another option that should serve my needs.

Tires look a lot larger than 42s. Nice bike. I approve.

Have to say "Hot", but only so long as the tires do not blow off the rims while innocently riding down the road.

I only put the hookless wheels on for pictures. When I ride, I use 13mm wide internal tubular rims and pump my tires 145 PSI
