Today I realized that the graphics on my Deda Zero1 stem and RS01 seatpost come off very easily with nail polish remover.

Yep, Goo Gone too! I left the side logos on, but took off the stripe on the top & bottom.

The ones with the red in the side logo(2012 model?) must be a different type of print though, because I couldn't get it to come off with the Goo Gone.

Yup. Acetone. It wiped the FSA Vero logos off my cranks like they weren't even there. Magic almost.

today i got pinch flats in both tires as i was flying down a hill only 5 miles into my planned metric ride, awesome.

tires just wouldnt hold the crappy bell patches i have even though the guy at the gas station mechanics was so nice to let me use his air compressor

walked the 5 miles home.

last night I came home and tried to mess with my front derailleur at 3 in the morning. Didn't really remember how successful I was with it until this morning when I woke up to find the mess I made. what a bad idea that was

Today I took it pretty easy on my way to work even though I left ~25 minutes later than usual. Still clocked in on time FTW!!

Don't forget Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segall.

So remember a while back when I was talking about opening a brewpub? Well, it got put on the back-burner for a while because of some personal issues, but it is officially off of the back burner. I now have a business partner who is a front-of-house genius and beer nerd, and we have a couple potential investors. Gonna contact a business lawyer soon, draw a business plan, and go location scouting.

I got in a good 50 miles through the city today, including a stop to grab beers for a party Saturday evening. Got a 2004 Goose Island Pere Jacques and a Hof Ten Dormaal Brune. Between that, the stuff from Evil Twin, and the stuff that the host already has, it will be a good night of good beers and good people. Also on the ride, my u-lock had a fight with a taxi mirror. He cut me off three times, yelled at me to get off the road (I was in a bike lane) and stopped (in the bike lane) to grab a fare. I'd had enough, so the lock came out.

Today I had a fun ride on the dmr, then took a short, easy spin on the 930.

Today I may have figured something out that would lead to a better understanding of the mechanism of self incompatibility in flowering plants.

Also, the thing thats growing on my eye is getting even worse. I'm pretty freaked out

second day successfully climbing the hills to work w/o coming off the saddle of my recent Ridley SSCX build.

tried to drop off some unused parts to the local co-op, but no one was there.

2hrs of fencing practice and then home to enjoy a Harpoon Ginger Wheat, which apparently only comes in 20oz and on tap. ah well, so be it. it's a really good summer beer. slightly overhopped, but that's the current market...
