I am in Australia... but Wet Ones or Wet Wipes seems to have been the best for me. You could also try women's make-up remover, which seem to have more moisture in them, are larger, and are excellent for grease removal, among other bodily stuff.

it just means you're camping out of sight, not visible to casual passers-byers.

fortunately, english already has a word for camping on someone else's
property without permission. it's called "trespassing."
Fortunately in lots of the US and Canada, there are plenty of places to stay, Crown Land up north and in the US, plenty parks forests, state land and federal ones too. It's called freedom. And lots of places allow dispersed camping. Spread out, don't leave a mess or a fire ring. I'm not talking about someone's field, land or such. YRMV.

Thanks for the reply. I was using Wet Ones and Wet Wipes. I think my skin is just ultra sensitive. I can't sleep very well when I'm sticky. Would love to find something that works when there's no shower available.

I have a fold up bucket, it's 10 L and 1.5 oz. folds up very small. If you have a water source it works quite nicely for a bucket bath.

The fold up bucket is Sea to Summit silnylon kitchen sink, 1.7 oz 10 L maybe 8 functionally, sloping sides are more stable. folds small maybe 4" x 1/2" from Rei. $40 ouch!!
I do inside for clean water, inside out for soapy water.

I'll second the bull comment. I camped (unknowingly) on a bull's territory in Spain whilst in the military...the outcome wasn't pretty.

Any farm animal can step on you tent, and mess it up. Maybe step on you also.
