Completely oury'd track/road bars?

Has anybody ever done this? I've got a set of Nitto RB021's and an extra set of oury grips. I've got one set up to the stem with enough room for a 26mm lever and a light on the other side. The most comfortable spot on the bars is there the drop ends and the curve forward begins. My last setup has bar tape on that area. Should I slap on the second set of Oury's to cover that curve or just wrap it up?

This Oury lust is getting insane.

Do what you like, but I'd probably put bar tape on there like an ordinary human being.

I had a picture of a guy who had ouries on the top, bartape on the curve and champs to finish. Old pic, like 4 years old out of NYC. Someone help me out here.

Are champs really that comfy? I've seen em at the shop by figured they were just another track racer accessory.

Well my bars do look a bit funny but at the same time they feel fantastic.

Those are 38cm RB021's btw.

In all seriousness though, they do eliminate the need for gloves of any sort. I just figured I'd oury the most commonly used areas of my bars so I don't have to use any gloves. The horns on my bars are only used for climbs.
