Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

If they would only call themselves "treadmill freestylers" we wouldn't have anything to complain about.

i think the video is pretty clever, on commenting on the whole sanitized populace/culture thing. when people need to buy 2000$+ objects to do things such as walking, i think its safe to say we are all consumer *****s.

"or something like this crap:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv5zWaTEVkI"

Hey, I though that was pretty cool, too. Wonder how long it took to get all that down.

On the treadmill bike site, if I remember right, they do actually sell them for like $5,000. Basically, they don't expect you to buy it but if you really want one, they'll build it for you.
