Walked on my first mup today in Albany. We don’t have these where I come from. Got passed my two fat tire bikes and saw a couple chipmunks.

renovations began today. next week new floors in kitchen and foyer. Minor work in kitchen today to get ready for quartz countertop.

Kind of glad I didn't have time for a metric today.
Ended up fighting a headwind most of the 15 miles back and spent a lot of time in the drops and the "invisible aerobar" position. By the end of it my neck was really starting to get uncomfortable from staying that low for so long.
It also didn't help that my legs slowly filled with cement after mile 30.

Felt a little down this morning and agonized about where to ride. Ended up going to the Santa Monica mountains by myself and soon a group went by the other way and someone called my name. Still don't know who it was but I always enjoy that.
Later a friend caught up to me on his e-bike Haven't seen him in ages and he said he would go where I was going so I had someone to ride with for the first time in a while. We started a 3 mile climb when another friend of ours came down and she was riding solo so she turned around and climbed back up with us. She then turned back and it was great to see her.
E-bike friend and I continued on and it turned out to be a fun ride and cheered me up quite a bit.

Trying to find replacement glass for my car is starting to get frustrating. Everyone is sold out of the size I need, and the only place that has it wants 50 bucks. Not paying that much for a part where everyone else who had was selling for 20 dollars or less. I can get a whole new assembly for 69 dollars.

$15 and you didn't lift a finger? nice! I got a side mirror for my Mom's car on Amazon for $10 and glued it in myself with some epoxy. Used a few rubber bands to hold a little piece of styrofoam against it while it cured.

Yea I used some plastic generic stuff last time, it was a pain in the ass, and even with epoxy it didn’t want to stay on nor could you see out of it all that well. So I was gunna use glass this time. If I can’t find one that fits my car i’ll just have to remove the whole assembly, and worry about it later.
