Big hands/gloves, which gloves do you like?
Time for some new ones, what do you like/wear? I prefer old school type crochet backs on the gloves but am open to others.

I found that the specialized brand XXL gloves fit me the best. Giro are also decent but prefer the Spec. because I can get them with out the velcro strap they are just a put on type.

I've had good luck with the Giros as well. Pearl Izumi shrunk the sizes of their gloves 1-1.5 sizes about three years back, so a PI XXL is about the same size as a Giro L or XL.

A couple years back I was going on a ride but didn't have any gloves for some reason. I stopped at a Walmart looking for cycling gloves but didn't like what they had in the cycling section. Checked out the rest of the sporting goods section and picked up some Gold's Gym weightlifting gloves which were even cheaper than the cycling gloves. Been using them ever since.
I think the reason I didn't like the cycling gloves they had was because they weren't big enough. I have very big hands and could only find the weightlifting gloves in XL.

I wear an XXL or XXXL for gloves, and many brands version of the XXL is not nearly big enough (Sugoi, for instance.) Personal favorite for fingerless is the Giro Zero II (which are discontinued), and the Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Aero for full-finger. For insulated, Seirus makes some pretty big ones (the Polartec 8010 is big enough even for me) and the Aerotech Windproof Thermal gloves are the only gloves I own big enough to actually wear a liner in.
The Giro Zero CS fits the same as the old Zero IIs, but has a shorter cuff, and I prefer longer. Trying to get mine to last as long as possible, but wrecked a while back and shredded one, so I'm down to 2.5 pairs, one pair of which the sun has pretty much savaged.

Specialized Body Geometry designs are the real deal. Their gloves are well designed and well constructed. The XL is a tight fit for me but I like it like that. Their “wire tap” finger tips let me use my phone with the same accuracy as my bare fingers. I use both fingerless or full finger depending on the weather.
