West bound Transam info?
A friend is west bound on the Transam and will reach Pueblo this week. Will it be too cold to head into the mountains at this date? When I did the transam (west bound) I was in Pueblo a month later. What do you think?

The 10-day for Breckenridge (elev. 9,600') shows lows in the mid-30 to low 40s and highs in the low to lid-60s. Again, that's at altitude. All things considered, sounds rather nice,

BTW...Don't be surprised to find it chilly in Yellowstone. I camped at there (Coulter Bay) in late June and awoke to frost on the ground, but once the sun came up, it warmed up nicely.
