I'm almost finished with the Ben Franklin biography. The more I read, the more impressive the man. He lived in England and Paris for many years attending to the affairs of fledgling America but he never lost his curiosity and interest in science. Even as a very old man, returning home to 'Philadelphia, he was taking temperature measurements of the Gulf Stream.
