Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It's a High Stop hub with 110 OLD I think. But the axle is extra long, so you just add spacers (collars, washers, or wider lock nuts) under the lock nuts to fit wider spaced frames. They might have been from "Junky Rusty Bikes", but I'm not sure because I bought them about 10 years ago. Probably many sources for these. Mine have the machined brake tracks which I think adds a nice touch even if you're not using them. Some do not.

^Thanks. You did a nice job of making those parts look like they were made for your Schwinn.

Couldn't wait for the 2020 thread!

I started medical school this past August and now my commute is too far for the bike. Between that and studying, I've haven't been able to ride as much as I want to. This felt like a good way to welcome the new decade.

Happy New Year BFSSFG!
