Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Australia does not have a Tim Hortons, and the few donuts which are produced here aren't all that great. They tend to be rubbery and chewy. I can't really remember the last time I had a donut ... at least two months.

Another funny thread.

"I don't work out anything but my legs so I can shed every last ounce off of my body, even if it is useful muscle."

"I just had a donut last week. It really isn't a big deal, get over it."

We call this a hypocrite.

I haven't read the whole thing, but I need a clarification before I vote.

Do mini donuts count?

You guys are tempting me to go to the ride that start/ends at the donut shop. I still have 2 hours before the ride starts and I have an urge. I thought losing fat included not eating these sweets

I don't know if its been talked about yet.

But I'll be having (hopefully) a dozen and only seeing them once come February.

Come out and have fun, enjoy the deliciousness of Krispy Kreme.

One donut -- last month -- in several years. Am trying to get below 175 lbs.

Saw a new Tim Horton's near work and had to see what all the fuss (long line-ups) was about. It was -- predictably -- about donuts.
