What didn't he do? He basically slingshot himself (with a lot of help from Salvodelli) onto the podium.

Tomorrow's stage will be fun to watch, too. I think the Gavia comes too early to be absolutely decisive. The GC contenders may move away from the rest of the group on that climb, though. I think the key to tomorrow's stage will be how many teammates you have once you come over the Gavia.

What a great stage! I'll have to get my ride in early in the morning tomorrow to see if I can catch the tail end of stage 20. Give's me some motivation to push a little harder

And now I present our daily dose of Ricco's Ramblings:
“What I’d like to ask Sella and (Domenico) Pozzovivo if they’d thought they would win the Giro? Contador always finds someone like that who helps him. No one ever helps me,” said Riccò, who unleashed an angry Italian curse at the summit. “They should have stayed on Contador’s wheel and let him pull. People have been saying that Contador is stronger than me on the climbs, but as far as I can remember, I’ve dropped him on ever summit finish. Tomorrow I will go on the attack again and I just hope (CSF-Navigare) isn’t working behind me.”

I recall some guy here telling me a while back that Di Luca wasn't a good climber,
or even a decent bet as a GC all-rounder. Wonder whatever happened to that guy...

Someone tell that punk b!tch that he lost time on the uphill TT, so he can get his facts straight.
He's behind by 4s. He lost 8s in the TT. And before someone tells me "He lost his chain", well, that's part of racing. I don't think Contador or Di Luca would be whinging about that, either.

Anybody see any video highlights of this one? Looks like a belter! I can't imagine how Savoldelli felt on the downhill.

these euro stars are fun to watch, but the things that come out of their mouths!! contador - "I fear nothing in this giro!" wtf.. they're so full of themselves... but today was definitely epic, too bad it's just text, maybe one day i'll bite the bullet and subscribe to a cycling tv station...
