Looking for a threadless stem that meets these criteria
Hi all,
I'm looking for a threadless stem (1 1/8 steerer), in chrome or silver, with a 25.4 handlebar clamp diameter and a very short reach (no greater than 50 mm, preferably even shorter if possible). Does such a beast exist? I've been searching for quite a while and haven't found anything. The closest I've gotten is Dimension's 60mm reach stem. Rise does not matter to me, though I'd prefer no rise if possible. Thanks if anyone can provide some guidance on this search!

Not exactly what you want but have a look at the Discord Chromo Peeper stem . The offset is 30mm but in a 31.8 handlebar clamp. As others above suggested a shim would be needed. Since it is handmade, it is priced accordingly.

Hmmm, I have one on my kid’s bike that sounds like that- it’s by Avenir- although it is black, not silver.
