Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Car & Roadie commercial (hope this is not a re-post)

Did anyone see the VW Passat commercial showing a roadie's front lights dying out, leaving him in the darkness...when a Passat with its HIDs (that can turns the same direction the wheels are pointed) comes right up behind the roadie, lighting up the road for him.

The roadie moves to the right & waves the driver to pass, but the Passat driver just keeps his distance and rides behind the roadie on the dark switchback roads. When the cyclist corners, the Passat follows him and you can see the Xenons move to point in the direction of the road.

They later reached a traffic light and the roadie thanks the driver.

Yes, it's been posted before. I just saw it and think it's good to show that some drivers are nice and will get along with roadies. I doubt it will change any roadie/car relations though.
