Wow, thanks! I don't get many comments from people about how hot or good looking my bike is. These days you've got to have some yellow or bright blue, to be "hot", and I do like those too but I like dark colors also(looks more stealthy ). I got it this spring, but only have around 710 miles on it.

Here we go. seeing knemo77's bike spurred me on to take some updated pics of my bikes
The top one is the lemond, 20 pounds of pure steel and sex appeal, and it has some new goodies on it:
-dura-ace/open pro/DT revolution wheels
-conti GP3000 tires
-cinelli rasta tape
-Specialized '03 BG Pro Saddle
The bottom is the 81 bianchi. it is a pig weight wise (25-26 pounds would be my guess) but the bianchi rides like a dream, plus, its my project bike. heres what went on this one:
-XT rear mech
-Matrix aurora rims on tiagra hubs (from lemond)
-truvativ elita ISIS triple crank
-Truvativ ISIS BB (not sure of model)
-XT cassette
-dia compe aero brake levers

Still kicking.
If anyone lost posts in this thread, repost them. The originals were probably lost in the server change.

RonH, I've got a few jpegs on my desktop of bikes. I'd like to post them and share, but the forum directions for doing this lost me at the "pass". Can the jpegs simply be inserted into a reply? Like inserting a pic in most other desktop applicantion?

My ride, finally fitting and ready to go. I have a Thompson setback seatpost on her now. The frame is an Orbea Ultrafoco Carbon, a nice blend of triple butted Columbus Ultrafoco steel and Columbus carbon seatstays. Campy Record, FSA carbon cranks, Look PP296 pedals, Ritchey bars and stem. Hand picked the parts and built her up myself. Except the wheels, but I'm thinking about rebuilding them with different lacing patterns.

Heres my first road bike. This is also my first complete build up from items on ebay and nashbar. The frame was used and hand built from a guy in Cali. The wheels and brakes are used and everything else is brand new.
CXP21 rims with Ultegra Hubs wrapped with Michelin Pro Race clinchers
Dia-Compe single pivots with newer style brake shoes and pads
Nashbar seatpost with Gipiemme gel saddle
Complete 105 gears and shifting system
Nashbar Ventoux Magnesium SPD-R pedals
Wal-Mart special Zefal waterbottles and Bell seatpost bag.
I forgot to add that this is my very first picture taken with my new digital camera I bought last night. I took the pic. this morning at 4:45 before work so I could download and try everything out.
