It is a "frame pump"; it pumps up the price of the frame.

Looks like a Japanese Professional model with 022 tubing that someone rebuilt with Campi bits, at least the brakes.

GITANI !!!

Spot on on the year. It's a 1975 Interclub. Why? The nutted BB spindle was for a Sugino Maxi or cheap Nervar 3 arm cast (melt forged) crank.

1974-75 head tube sticker in yellow or green.

1976 head tube sticker in yellow or green

From 1974-76 all just about all Gitanes had "Racing Team" stickers on the chain stays. Just like the foil sticker era bikes had "Custom Made" stickers on the seat tubes!

In 1976 there were a few Interclubs that came with 3 main tubes Reynolds frames but that's a different story.

This is definitely a for-profit venture; I flip bikes as a side income. Look for it on ebay soon. I will either start bidding at $500, or ask $975 buy-it-now, not sure yet.

Thanks so much Chas!

Was thinking it might be a latter day Inter; only have hands on experience of the boomer ones.

Greatly appreciated.

They are going to throw them in the dumpster. They don't put stuff out that is "partial',

Right, please don't give them away. Maybe people here can help out- what size are the frames?

I hate selling too, but I just remind myself that if I sell it I can turn around and put the money into what I do need! But, yes, frames are really a pain compared to components. Dealing with fleabay is the worst too.

I have a 54 cm road bike frame and two smallish hybrid frames. You guys are all on the east coast, and I am in CA. I have no problem with throwing them out, and any thrift store I donate them to, I will make sure they won't get tossed prior to handing them over. I was just using GW as an example. I know from personal experience that they are the most evil of all the thrift store chains, in their business practices. I have never, and will never donate anything to that place, I know better. I do buy stuff from them sometimes though.
