Early 80s Davidson frame/fork 55cm c-to-c
According to Bob Freeman, this custom Davidson frame dates from the early 80s. 55cm seat tube c-to-c, 56cm top tube c-to-c. Lovely bikini lugs, Cinelli BB shell. Tubing believed to be Columbus SL; the steerer tube is rifled. Campy dropouts front and rear, 126mm rear spacing. Placement of rear brake bridge restricts tire size to 25mm; you could go bigger at the front, but why?
Paint is a rich, deep burgandy in superb condition. The only nicks/scrapes of note are a tiny chip on the down tube from a previous front brake strike and a scuff on the NDS chainstay. No dings or dents.
Too small for me. I'm tearing it down to gain access to the wheels for a project build, and will most likely sell the remaining components at a later date.
EDIT: Frame/fork and British-threaded BB.

$550 + shipping. I will use prospective buyer's preferred shipping method.

I'm probably not going to be the one to buy this, but wow, it's gorgeous. I saw one of these around the year 2002 and was enamored with it, but it was far too small for me. This one would fit perfectly... GLWS...

I'd sell it complete, but nobody here would pay what I'd ask! I wouldn't either, of course

Bothell huh? That's a nice area. Did some training with Kalmus there back in my soldier days. Very lush as I remember.
