Value of a used Brooks B-72 on Craigslist?
I'm selling a used B-72 that I got with some other parts and have no use for. I listed it for $40 and someone talked me down to $30 and I'm going to meet them tomorrow.
I'm having seller's remorse (and haven't even sold it yet). They seem to fetch more like $50-60 used on ebay but mine is a little ugly.
If you were selling this saddle, what would you ask for/expect?

I would say $40 is too high. $30 seems more than fair.

I paid fifteen clams for a similar one at a swap meet this past weekend. I thought it was a great price and should have gone for more, but this area doesn't really support C&V bikes and gear very well.

Myself, I would be selling it on ebay. On Craigs List, $30 is just about right. To get more, ebay is your best option (with all of the other associated headaches)....

don't forget if you sell it on ebay... they take about 12% of the final value... plus you have to invest the time in shipping and listing...
you might make $10-15 more on ebay but a buyer with cash in had is worth two on ebay... that what I think
