First race
Hello, Im doing a little gravel race this weekend. 60 miles. It's called snacking bear.( Hungry bear is 100mi)
This is my first ever event. I'm conditioned not concerned about that. Maybe mph could be a problem? Any advice?

I would also add to remember to have fun. You should finish hungry, legs hurting and a great big smile on your face.
Please let us know how it goes.

I mean at this point just make sure your gear is sound, you have food and water and then go ride it. There's isn't much else to do.. have fun.

Took a prerace spin. My nerves are up. Worried more about the surface. Bike got a little squirrelly on some loose stuff a couple of times. Thought I was going down a few times. Worried this will effect my performance most of all.

Update! Well I finished the race. It was a learning experience to say the least. There were a few crashes( none were me thank God) A few douchy guys, you know the ones that just annoy you because of their mannerisms on the bike. This would be pushiness type behavior or not holding your line. All in all I'm hooked. Ran with lead group until the last 10 miles then they dropped the hammer and me.😀
