SART Double Metric Video

I did a Double Metric on Saturday, ended up with 128 miles. We hooked up with some guys on the lower section of the SART and ran about 15 miles at a pretty fair clip. We ended the day with 128 miles in 6:56 and ticked off the 100 mile mark in 5:18. Overall average speed was 18.4.

Yeah, it was kind of intense. When we got to the beach I checked the Garmin...64.8 miles average speed 19.6.

Awesome! If I ever hook up with you guys, remind me to first dump the 50/34 and put on the 53/39. No way I could keep up with a compact.

I'm riding 54/39 SRAM Red and it was good. We will do this ride again, but I will say not until the fall. It was very comfortable all the way down and back to Yorba Linda when things started to heat up. In the 90's by Green River and my Garmin showed 105° by the end of the day. We were pretty much spent by then.

Having Klein switched over to SRAM. But I want to leave to 52x39 Dura Ace Crank on the front. It would be perfect for that kind of ride. I might not be perfect however.
