A pair of Peugeots
Have had these for a while and recently upgraded to some modern bikes but not sure I wanna get rid of them yet. Are they worth keeping? I’ve done some work but not too well versed in the bicycle arena. Here is what I know.
Womens Peugeot Iseran
Carbolite 103
27” Rigida wheels
12speed
swapped out the brakes and drop bars since the wife didn’t like them at all. Think this is a late 70s-83 but not sure.
mine (red) has been given more aggressive tires and smaller cantilever brakes since my feet kept hitting the old ones. It’s an 18spd

They are both entry level models.
The Iseran mixte bike dates from 1987:

The MTB is from the 1990's.
They both look to be in decent riding condition. They're not worth much to a bike collector or enthusiast.
The value is that they are probably ready to ride for someone just looking for a bike.
You can find bikes like these on CraigsList all over the US. Depending on location they sell for between $25 and $100+.
If you are planning to sell them, mid August is a good time because buyers heading back to school are looking for transportation bikes.

Thanks for the info guys. I figured they weren't worth much but was still curious. I may just end up keeping them and get them serviced and back up to date just to have them around.
