Leaning presta valve...bad?

Couldn't get the valve stem straight.
Wrestling with latex tubes.
Should I be worried?
Please don't make take the freakin tire off again.

Let out most of the air. Roll the wheel with the nearly flat tire across the carpet in the opposite direction from the angle of the crooked valve. That should nudge the tube to creep back into the desired position. If not, roll the other direction.

Refill and check again. Should do the trick. I do that often on my Presta and Schrader wheels to straighten valves.

A leaning valve is never ”good”. i.e, it never offers any improvement. But it doesn’t have to be noticeably ”bad” either. A slight lean like that, I’d be tempted to ignore. If there’s a lean I judge that I have to do something about, I’ll generally deflate the tire, make sure its unseated, then ”massage” and pull at the tire to shift it around on the rim a bit until the valve is straight(er). Rolling the wheel sounds like a neat way of doing it.

Just fully deflate the tire so the bead disengages from the rim, grab the tire in one hand, the rim in the other, and wiggle the tire side to side while pulling the tire in the desired direction. You literally only have to shuffle the tire/tube a couple of mm around the rim.
