Centurion LeMans
Looking for info on my old road bike - what's it worth, whats the best way to sell it, should I fix it up? General info like that would be appreciated. Original owner, still have the bill of sale and owners manual if that is useful. Getting too old to ride hunched over. :-)
Photos are below. I appreciate any and all help. This is one awesome forum! Thanks in advance.

Clean and shine as much as possible. Repair or replace the saddle. Do whatever is necessary to make it fully functional and ready to ride.
In my area, in finished shape, that would be a $150-$175 bike.

In Philly I recently facilitated a sale of the same model, slightly worse cosmetic condition for $125. It was recently tuned with a Brooks saddle.

Don't take less than $250 for that. It's somewhat heavy. But, it's a damn fine ride. This one has been upgraded with brifters and race tires. I've put at least 3000 miles on it & wouldn't take less than $385 for it.

In my area road bikes are sort of a hard sell. But yours looks like it would clean up nice.

On PDX Craigslist there are always a few of these for sale. Asking prices are anywhere from $100 to $350. I couldn't say what they sell for, but I expect it's closer to the $100 end of that range. People asking for the higher price are probably (incorrectly) using Centurion Ironman prices as a point of reference. I bought the 1987 Le Mans RS frame, fork, and headset below with a few minor dents and scrapes for $20.
I think this is a nicer bike than the market value suggests. Most people either want an Ironman (which have a cult following) or are just looking for a functional old bike, so these sell around "functional old bike" price levels. Unless you find a buyer who likes the paint (which, to be honest, is why I bought the one I did), you probably aren't going to find someone who is specifically looking for one of these.

In my area, in that condition, that is a $75 bike. Cleaned up and completely overhauled, that is a $150-$175 bike. A few years ago when the market was more hot, you could maybe get $200 or $225. Not anymore.

Those old Centurions seemed to have more performance than their weight or parts kits would normally dictate . Maybe its the trickle down effect from the Ironman lineup --- or the placebo effect from the hot rod paintjobs who knows
