News Update....
"UCI finds eating a healthy diet of natural foods gives athletes an unfair advantage over athletes who eat processed foods. UCI looking into testing of athletes who eat natural organic foods...."
(This is meant to be humorous satire for those slow on the uptake)

Yep, pretty funny that as soon as science dispels one reason for spinach being a superfood -- it's not any more significant as a source of iron than other good foods -- it finds another reason for Popeye's ridiculous forearms.
Whatever. I'll try anything. I just got a bag of BulkSupplements brand ajuga turkest extract, supposedly a good source for ecdysterone. Ask me a few weeks if it seems to make any difference.
I suspect it'll be like the other crap I take -- DHEA, pregnenolone, magnesium lactate, eating beef liver at least once a week, blah-blah-blah. Maybe it works. Maybe I just had one good ride day and forgot about the rides when I felt like a limp noodle. Maybe it's just because my endocrinologist finally approved a larger dosage of levothyroxine. If it doesn't show up as a consistent increase in speed on my usual training circuits, it probably does zippo other than to contribute to the market for folks afraid of getting older.
