"My old Harley-riding buddies would just ride it up the stairs."
Had a neighbor who was a Triumph nut. Raced a Rickman frame with a 500 motor. Loud and nasty. He coasted it down the stairs to his basement in the winter for storage. Nope, did not drive it up the stairs. We had to push it. Thankfully it was not a heavy bike.

This is what is known as the "I meant to do that" defense . Good luck with that.
Will the Looney Tunes line get funny the third time you post it?

Definitely get a Lynskey GR300 - frame is warrantied for life to the original owner. Go to their website Lynskey Performance . Com and click on the Gravel bike header....then GR300.
Tell them that Kerry Kerlin sent you there and you may get a discount off Retail price.

I once met a guy who was working on super symmetry. Basically, he could wormhole a proton across the lab. He quit that job to work on magnetic levitation because he got tired of being " *****ed at because of the electric bill". It turns out that in 2004 one needed enough electricity to light up Chicago to wormhole a proton. One meets weird riders in the parking lot after a hill ride. So maybe a hoverboard with wheels?

I tried riding a quantum bicycle, but when I checked my speed, I got totally lost.

That lettering is definitely gaudy.
Seriously, I find that an incredibly ugly bike, but if anyone wants to give me one...

GIVE being the operative word. Even if I won a mega-Million lottery I'm not about to spend that kind of money on a Trek when there are Colnago, Tommasini, and Ciocc custom steel frames in this wonderful world.

And yes the lettering is gaudy, but this is easily and inexpensively corrected with a couple strips of 3M red reflective tape. On the red frame (the fastest color) it would not only look smooth but would add an additional touch of safety.
But worst of all in my excitement I showed my wife the SLR 9. After her eyes returned to their normal position (she saw the price) she seriously asked "Don't they sell Treks at Walmart?" That kind of spoiled it for me.
