Wooden top cap
I had some Moradillo in the garage from other projects. I turned this on a drill since I don't have a lathe. Took a few minutes while BSing with the neighbor during my kids' nap time.
I like it. I didn't expect it to match my bar tape so well.

Yeah, I use 1.625" aluminum rod to rough out bases, and fit them with whatever wood scrap I have lying around.
