July 4th group ride near Parker, CO?

I'm visiting family friends and looking to ride in the morning for a couple hours. I race Cat 3 in Texas and I'll be on a CX/gravel bike.

If no group rides in the area, can you recommend a route? I'm familiar with Cherry Creek Trail but that's it.

Ok no responses as I expected so I mapped out some gravel roads east of Parker. We'll see how this goes. Happy 4th, y'all!

Hey, no worries! I found some gravelly goodness in "Ponderosa East" area. I took a couple nicely paved "Gulch" trails to head out that way and back.

Did you get wet? I rode around Cherry Creek Reservoir on the 4th and got soaked and hailed on.

Everything is so alive after it rains, it was great

I beat the rain since I started pretty early. Actually got some pea-sized hail in Parker along with the rain later in the day.
