Bianchi Volpe Disk or Vsf fahrradmanufaktur T-100
Hello everyone,
I am a newbie here who is looking for reliable advises.
I have been cycling rather seriously in the past with nothing but a second-hand 1970s road bike I came to like very much, which to be fair wasn't always the most comfortable. Then I moved far away, where cycling isn't easy and had to give up that nice hobby. But the fever took me again and here I am:
I think it is time for me to get back to cycling and upgrade a bit. I am now contemplating the idea of investing in a nicer bike with a budget under 1000 USD. I'd be likely to travel a bit (i travel often) with it if i spent that sort of money on a bike.
Two models sold online and available to be shipped where I am headed now (northern France) caught my interest:
-the first is the: Vsf Fahrradmanufaktur T-100 (900 eur)
-the second, the 2016 Bianchi Volpe disc (on sale at 850eur instead of 1400)
Both have steel frames and are attractive to me (the vsf's design is bit nicer for my tastes though).
What would you, knowledgeable people who can read specifications better than i do or maybe even have experience with both models, recommend? Would it be desirable to look at the slightly more expensive vsf t-300? I'd still be happy to save 150 eur for buying sides bags or other useful stuff for my new bike.
It'd be great to know what you think.
Thank you very much!
Adrian

The Volpe is a drop bar bike and the VFS if a flatbar bike.
For me, that alone would eliminate one of them since the riding style is so different.
