Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Looks like it's gonna be a sweet ride, but get it right and call those frame joints lugs, that's their name hahah

Aww jeez, it's all put back to its original condition and ready to be handed back to the guy who gave it to me 5 years ago. Well, here's a pic from its heyday:

I've been reading this thread just waiting for my CETMA 5-rail to arrive. After about two months, it was delivered last Friday. I have nothing but great things to say about Lane and his products.

It wasn't too bad actually. It was a little flexy on turns but still very manageable. You have to keep an eye on everything though and it's a little nerve recking to go over a bump for fear of pinch flatting but I pumped my tires up to max before I went there. I had some semi steep hills to climb as well and expected I would have to walk it up but it wasn't bad at all and was able to ride it through. Just had to take things a bit slower than usual. I had to take the lane the full trip because I didn't want to get boxed in, but thankfully the drivers were a LOT more aware and were a bit more forgiving because of what I was carrying. The looks on drivers faces was pretty priceless
