2008 cervelo r3 max tire width
Does anybody know what the max tire width I can fit on the 2008 r3 is? I'm thinking of going to 28mm for a bit more comfort and grip but don't know if I have the clearance.

What width tire is one it now? Based on what's there measure the side clearance to the fork bladed and seat stays and under the brake arches. How much room is left and make your decision from that.
Alternatively, can you borrow a wheel with a 28 mm tire from a friend or even a bike shop and give it a test fit?
My guess, sight unseen? A 28 won't fit.

A google brought up this article which suggests a 28 should fit.
Cervelo R3 review - BikeRadar USA
Standard road brakes tend to be narrow enough between the pads,
even released, to make anything wider than a true 28mm a hassle
to get on and off the frame, inflated.
