Needing Advice on New Bike
So I am a Pro Am/Amateur level Sponsored MTB rider. In about 3 weeks time I'm going with a new bike. The Hyper HPR S Shocker is done for. It skips 2nd gear, goes right to 3rd....and I'm getting drag/lag from the crankshaft and grinding from the bottom bracket. Plus, when I was following a female racer days ago at Rocky Knob MTB park , for a timed run, I kept up with her well until the Shocker and I came in hard on a turn across a wooden bridge, and soon as I cleared the bridge, the front wheel twists and goes out of line, stuck 40 degrees to the right until I fixed it. Which ruined my aggressive run. Anyway....to the point.
I am planning on doing Enduro, downhill gravity racing and drag racing. I am wondering which to get before my upcoming race Event. The easiest to get would be The Hyper Havoc FS and put aftermarket parts on it. The other bikes I'm considering are the Santa Cruz Bronson, The Specialized Demo 8 or my sponsors bike, the Eminent Haste. Looking for something 26 inch, with 2.30 tires or wider. Test rode the Specialized Stuntjumper and got used to SRAM trigger shifters yesterday, but 29 inches is too tall for me to easily recover if I need to correct torque steer or mess up on a practice session or on racing line. The largest I'll go is 27.5. I know The Haste will run me 4499 with the sponsorship discount, which I don't have atm and can't figure out how to finance on the site currently. So looking for suggestions.

He tried it in the All Mountain forum on MTBR, they mostly seemed to enjoy him.

Yes. Torque steer. Every vehicle has it. What do you think the weaving of the front wheel on upclimb climbs in lower gears is called? Lets say on topic; shall we? I asked a simple question. Lets not toss out accusations and stupid, unrelated posts like mtbr does.
