Why do you think Froome is dirty but Sagan is clean?

I have no idea how you got that from my post. In both situations described in the quoted post, 'in-depth investigation by experts' was performed by the UCI and/or WADA. They ultimately decided to state that Sagan shouldn't be punished and that Froome's result was not conclusive enough to punish him.

And Sagan was punished by being thrown out of the 2017 TdF, not on the basis of an in-depth expert investigation. If it was 'obvious to most' then why wasn't it obvious to the race officials?

And once a proper investigation was conducted, the powers that be admitted they made a mistake and apologized yet some people still think he was in the wrong. Hence my post.

Froome certainly benefited from having a high priced legal/scientific team backing him, but what makes you think the result was political? Did the lead scientist who developed the test not say there were problems? Why do you think the ruling isn't based on the science?
