Valuation on 1979 Huffy Pro Thunder
Hi,
I picked up this 1979 Huffy Pro Thunder today and was wondering what it would be valued at. Any one have ideas?
Thanks!

I would check out a site called BMXmuseum.com search the for sale section. If you become a member there you can search the sold section, and you can also list it to sell it.

Wow! You dont see those in survivor condition like that very often.
Your buyer is the guy who had one as a kid, but is now 48, owns his own business, and can throw a few bucks at a bike like that to hang on the wall of the man cave
To THAT guy , it might be worth 3 or $400 , maybe a little more--- But not much
If it was in more typical condition for its age, it'd be just another $75 Huffy - with most of the value being in those wheels

People don't like to give ideas of value as it is all over the place but I'd say somewhere between 100 and 250, that bike is in great shape!

And there you have it, differences in opinions I personally would not pay that much for that particular bike, clean as it is, no real meaning to me, but on the other hand find someone that had one as a kid and you may get a really good price for it!

There's a nice one on the local CL that's been listed at $250 for a couple of years now.
