Help with buying correct tire

Hello all,
I have an old school bike with tires that need to be replaced and they are 20 X 1 3/8 ........Can i buy a 20 X 1.75 for a quick fix so i am able to ride it??

You can squeeze a 1.75 tire onto those rims, but ironically 1.75 tires are tough to find these days, where as you can get new 20 X 1 3/8 tires as they are still used in racing. https://www.bmxguru.com/collections/tires-20/1-3-8 https://www.danscomp.com/products/44...lock_Tire.html

The difference though is modern tires are smooth where as the vintage ones were knobby. The reason for this is most BMX tracks these days are actually paved.
