Astronoid band Metal or what?

I heard this band on Liquid Metal on my XM radio and was intrigued enough to order their 2 CDs. Never heard anything like this before I canít classify the music it is so different and refreshing. I love all forms of heavy music from AC/DC to Slayer. Astronoid is heavy enough to satisfy an old metal head like myself their unique sounds fascinates me it makes me feel like I wonít be going to Hell anyone familiar with this band?

I ran into them while browsing around on Bandcamp one day, I really do like their stuff.

I would definitely classify them under the ever-expanding umbrella of "metal" music. Bands like this generally fall into the "Progressive Metal" subset if you are looking for some key words to find more music like this.

If you want to hear another band that is fairly similar, check out The Contortionist. Their album "Language" is one of my all time favorites

Astronoid band Metal or what? It belongs to Progressive Metal, but for me personally, it’s pretty light music that I listened to at school.

Astronoid is like cruising in space but you are still on Earth I do prefer a heavier rougher sound but this band is well composed.
