Edmonton Bike Shops
So I am planning on getting a "real" bike soon (Ie:NOT from Wal-Mart like the one I currently have)...not sure if it will be at the end of this season or the beginning of next (going on a 2 week long bike tour next summer through bits of Vancouver Island so I need something a bit more reliable)
I am looking to spend max of $500.
Can anyone recommend a good bike shop?
Thanks!

We recently bought our bikes at Revolution Bikes. I really liked them as they have a layaway program so we were able to spend a bit more on each bike.
My next bike though will probably be from United Cycle as they have the model I'm looking for though I've only bought bike related items from them.
Red Bike also seems to be nice though smaller than the abovementioned. We've also bought stuff at Western Cycle and they are all pleasant too.
I know there are more LBS's in Edmonton but those are they only ones I've actually dealt with.

Depends on the bike you intend on buying. I have no problem spending money at Western, United and Redbike. Western Cycle is the place for parts ... well stocked and knowledgable.
