Hey! This member had a swell Rollfast with the not so common twin top bar cantilever frame and seems to have been cut off unaware.

https://www.bikeforums.net/20172660-post1804.html

Can you please pick up the slack for them and potentially others? I have no way to do this, it's for others.

Someone was throwing this away so I rescued it. Located near Paramus, NJ. PM me to come and get it.

1960's Rollfast Men's. Apparently it has the "not so common twin top bar cantilever frame".

I think medium would be too small. If you're looking for LL, I got them here for $10: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shimano-Ult...MAAOSwU4FaHHSs

ISO French Thread Freewheel

Still seeking a 6 speed French thread freewheel, I found one on eBay (all the way from Paris, no less!) but after threading it onto the hub...very loosely, and then measuring with some digital calipers, I believe that it is definitely not French threaded. Thank you.

What are your requirements? I have two French-threaded Regina corn cobs. Here's a pic of one:

And evidence of the threading (I'm told that two grooves indicates French threading, and that matches my observations with this freewheel):

The hand-scratched "FF" was done by a previous owner of this particular freewheel.

I don't have pictures handy of the other one, but I believe it's got similar gearing but is in slightly better condition.

I have all or nearly all the components off a 87 SS. I'm sure I could find some suitable wheels too but they are expensive to ship so I'd search locally first. What parts are you looking for? I'm pretty sure mine had mostly Shimano 600/tri-color parts on it.

I need mainly drivetrain parts i.e. RD, FD, CHAIN, shifters, maybe brake calipers (came with Dia-Compe), crank and bottom bracket. the bike was a CL find and came with french Sachs Huret components and tubular wheels.

The 87 SS came with a complete Shimano 600 6208 series group- the whole dealio. Have seen some different rims on different bikes, but everything else in the drivetrain (hubs, freewheel, derailleurs, crankset, brake levers and calipers) was 6208. Lots of that out there, mostly individual pieces. Watch out for shifters that have all or most of the indexing tabs broken off, a very common problem that renders them useless.

My 90 for your 120

I have a 90 mm Cinelli 1E but I need 120 mm to really find out if my Tempo fits me.

edit: Looking for 26mm clamp. unless your 1E comes with 420 mm traditional bend bars

I have a 120 XA stem I could offer, but a previous owner sanded it down a bit to get it to fit in an off-spec steerer. Here's a pic. If you look closely you can see the top of the sanded area.

Thanks Andy but I'm looking for an unmodified specimen. Also, I didn't realize till now that the 1E is 26.4. The Forte Ergo Pro bars that came on my Tempo are 26 and the bars that I want to put on it will be 26 also.

Sooooo, I'm really trying to trade my 90mm 1E for something 120mm with a 26mm clamp.

Andy K, I'm interested in the 120 XA stem that you offered to Classtime. I've been trying to send you a private message regarding this, but I can't seem to make it launch....operator error no doubt! So, I'd appreciate you contacting me via direct email which is dean.reed@olypen.com.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Dean

ISO: caliper quick release mechanism, as found on some Dia-Compe sidepulls. I don't need the whole caliper (but I'll take it if that's the only way I can get it); just the quick release, barrel adjuster, and mounting bolt:
