@ThermionicScott I looked into this problem with tech and tested it on different accounts and on my own device and it worked. What device and browser are you using to look at the site?

@ThermionicScott - I see what you mean on the mobile view. My apologies. Let me get to the bottom of this with tech.

Thanks for taking a look @IBRyan!

I'm using Chrome on my desktop PC, and my mobile browser is Safari (iPhone 6 with iOS 11.4), if that helps.

@ThermionicScott of course! I apologize for this delay, there are many places we are looking into for the cause. Thank you for your patience!

Just noticed this morning the "@mention" is now showing up on the mobile app. Kudos!

Now the breadcrumbs and post buttons aren't working unless you allow cloudfare.com scripts to run. Why?

They are wrapped in javascript (why, I have no idea).

Your devs are loading up waaaaay too many 3rd party script libraries (bikeforums, google, cloudfare, schema.org, and a dozen others).

Put senior devs on the job. Clean up the codebase. More isn't better. It's a mess right now. This is a relatively simple website that has way to much going on. Adding more is simply one more thing that can (and will, eventually) break.

Answers that a dev team should never say to users:

- "It should work."
- "It works for me."
- "it works on my particular browser under my particular (privileged) account."

@carleton it seems that you may have a plugin that asks you to approve which scripts are allowed to run. These scripts are part of making sure the page is running optimally and efficiently.

Yes. I do.

My comment is about the unnecessary use of such scripts.

The site is in fact not running optimally and efficiently (IMHO). I did before this painful update, though.

If the architecture of this site was done correctly using basic MVC principles, reverting the frontend shouldnít be an issue. But, it seems like yíall are all-in with this full Leroy Jenkins.

This site can be better. Much better. Donít let the devs tell you they are doing their best. They are not.

Why don't you apply to work for IB/vBS, Carlton? Seems like the only other option you have is to run for president, and that's completely futile.

Just sayin'

Infiltration.

I have offered my services to management, literally, because I care about the site, Iíve been an active user for 14 years, and an IT professional for much longer implementing much, much larger projects.

They were not interested.

Oh well. Iíll continue to make my informed observations from a distance and hope they hear something useful.
