Why do I keep changing my bike fit?

Someone had to say it.

I'm always changing my bike fit, FWIW. Right now I'm in the process of putting longer stems on all my bikes, because I've become a big fan of having a lot of reach. Before that, I was constantly messing with seat height, changing gearing before that, moving brake hoods around, and stripping paint I had gotten tired of before that.

I will never run out of things to adjust, especially on 8 different bikes. It's one of the things about the hobby I love the most, having absolute control over every possible setting on my bikes, without having to convince anyone else that it's a good idea, I just do it and see if it works for me or not.
