I used to farm for a living, and if what they claim about Roundup alone was true, literally everyone I know should be prematurely dead by now. Never mind the rest of the stuff we used. Growers have liability for worker safety too.
I'm certainly not going to tell someone else what to eat, but IMO the concern for this sort of stuff is misplaced. A far greater concern is ecoli contamination, which ultimately comes from organic fertilizer sources (cows).

A scare title. Typical of media since the days of old. Note that they don't tell us what percentage of pesticide residue is found on fruits and vegetables in other countries.
Still, I prefer the stuff that comes from my own garden when I can get it.

Eventually, but not immediately. I mean look at coal miners.

California has a program in place to sample produce at distribution centers and publishes annual summaries. The program looks specifically for illegal residues, i.e. either use of pesticides not licensed on a particular crop or residues in excess of the allowable tolerance. Take home point is that violations for domestic produce are ~2% but can be much higher on imported produce.

Might be better, but sorry, even growing your own isn't 100% clean and pure due to air, soil and water pollution. You can go to the top of the most remote mountain and still find traces of pollutants from human made sources in the clearest stream. It is said that the only naturally pure water left on earth is deep inside glaciers.

You can go to the top of a very remote mountain and see the light domes from Seattle and Vancouver 200 miles away.

Black lung readily shows up in longitudinal studies.

We've been spraying conventional pesticides since WW2 ended. Where are those studies?
