Very nice Cougar.

My first car was a 7 year old 1974 Cougar with 460 stuffed inside. Same color, but with a short white vinyl top. I couldn't afford the gas, so I only kept it a year.

When I was a regular on the VeloNews Forum, I rode a Lemond Zurich painted blue. (SilverLogic just isn't as catchy...or is it?)

My initials. Nothing fancy, just like my PW which is the make of one of my bikes that I can't/won't forget.
Did not want something that had to go in the little 'user name/pw" book I need to maneuver through everyday life. Am I the only one with that book? It covers doctors/the vet/financial institutions/shopping sites/military sites (I'm retired Army)/etc. etc.. The book is mostly for p-words but still, you get the point.

LMAO ! That has never crossed my mind but it most definitely fits. There also might be some split personality issues since lots of the time I favor Satchel as well.

I'm Bruce. I wanted Bruce7 (my college football number). I forget where that was but it was not available. So, I went to 19 (John Unitas) because I was a big fan and a QB in college. And, I just stuck with it everywhere including here. Boring, I know.

The minimum number of characters in a username was 3 - even though there were posters with 2 character usernames here when I signed up. So, I used the Name of the cheap road bike that got me back into cycling. (Now stolen)

Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)

Kotts was a high-school nickname that I inherited from my older brother. There was enough gap between our ages that I had teachers who had been my older brothers' classmates. Some teachers started using it, and some of my friends picked up on it, and it's pretty much stuck.

Fitler Bend is a point on the Lower Mississippi River about 40 river miles above Vicksburg. Named after a plantation that existed long ago. It is just one of many unique river names that I encounter in my work.

That's pretty cool. I had a favorite number when I played soccer, but never thought to connect it to anything else. Probably because everyone just called each other by their last names.

In my youth I knew very little about soccer. I've come to love the sport. Just seems like the epitome of a team sport.

Soccer wasn't considered a "real" sport in my part of the world until maybe the late 1970s. UIL high school soccer didn't exist until my senior year in high school, which was '82-'83.

Almost every team I've played on were majority 1st or 2nd generation immigrants to America. In the '70s and '80s, the players on my teams were mostly European. Then in the 1990s, the players on my teams were mostly from Latin America.

User name is from my first non govt email account while flying for the AF. I flew for Military Airlift Command and in the 9th Airlift squadron. Sorta makes sense.

Means nothing. I always use a different name on every website that requires a login. I belong to so many I stopped trying to be innovative and witty and usually just enter the first thing that comes to my mind when asked for a username.

The bits and parts on my bikes are mostly an alloy of some metal, so I am Alloyboy.
I used to be 1931Alloyboy before my computer died and I had to become a member again.
When I grow up I will probably become Alloyman.

t4 is the internal designation for the VW Transporter, fourth generation (Eurovan, in the US market) and mv is the trim level (multivan). We got it after our first born showed up, and we still have it and it's still on the road. And we're still the first and only owners, too. Considering how many VWs we have, I'll be damned if I know why I picked that for a forum name... On a cycling note, however, it's taken us on many family cycling adventures, so it does have some redeeming value.
