Show me your man cave!
Here's mine:
I guess calling it a man cave is a bit of a stretch.
After Xmas I'll spiff it up, but we are going to have the entire clan descend upon us in a week. I'll have to clear out the equipment so one of my grandchildren don't try to lop off a finger on the chain.

Just starting to look at 'seniors' apartments for when I retire. The Kiwanis bachelor suite is 16 x 13. My entire living space is going to look like Dudelsack's man cave!

The bicycles are in the house and the cave is full of motorcycles. The wife tells me she wants to park the car in the garage in the winter. I laughed.

My landlord was very aware that I was interviewing him as much as he was interviewing me. Part of the conversation went something like this:
Me: I haven't owned a car since 1999. All my transportation is by bike. I keep them in my apartment, hanging on the wall with purpose-made wall-mount racks. Will there be any issues with that?
He: Not that I can think of.
Me: This includes winter time. Will you have any beef with me rolling a slushy bike through the hallways and carrying it up the stairs?
He: It doesn't track in more slush than people do on their boots, right?
Me: Here's my security deposit. Where do I sign?
As for dealing with it, I bounce the bike a couple of times outside to shake off most of the slush. I roll it in though the east wing door. Park it just inside while I check my mailbox. Then I roll it through the central connector to the west wing, carry it up to the third floor, and roll it down the hall to my apartment.
Once inside, I park it on the trainer mat while I sit down and take off my boots and outerwear.
Then it's off to the shower for a quick hose-down. (These two pics with the old wheelset and three-seasons tires.)
Then out to its hook in the living room to drip dry over a boot tray. (See the snow outside?)

OK, here's mine
Includes music practice room for my singing group, weight/balance room, office, my own closet, my own bathroom, hallway with programs and pictures of our performances, and behind the door in the weight room is another 1,000 sq feet of storage/workroom, etc. And the wife never comes down here unles emergency or something like that.
BTW, all the pics were taken today by a 12 year-old HP digital 1 MP I keep around because I like how it takes pics, and it has a viewfinder.
The one TV and one computer contain DVD's for learning my TRX routines (straps hanging from the cage). The weight bench is out of the picture, but it is there. Sometimes (but rarely) the TV is used for VCR Spinerval tapes (I have 9). The office computer has 3 screens.

I'm impressed by the neatness of the man caves on show and a little bit embarrassed about the chaos in mine.
No garage so I've commandeered the two garden sheds, much to my wife's annoyance. The slightly larger one is the workshop/bike store, while the smaller one is currently full of wheels and frames

Garage is full up with the Parts for the campervan and the tools necessary to maintain it-Bikes live in a 16' x 10' shed but now also contains most of the contents of the garage so I could get the van spares in the garage.

These photos are great! You have an enviable set-up for a bike commuting lifestyle, TSL. Fabulously organized and efficient.
I need to take a few photos of how my bikes are organized and stored. I will spoil the suspense by saying that my wife would JNEVER tolerate a bike in any living area of the house. Just wouldn't happen. The day that I bring a bike in (even with Bruce's preparation and care), would be followed by the day that my body is found just outside the door with a frying pan embedded in my skull.
I use the unfinished area of my basement, where the HVAC and water heater are, as my workshop and partial bike storage area. The rest hang from the rafters in my garage...where there is a second workbench and heavier vise.

No basement here in earthquake-prone California (plus expansive soils). We don't garage our cars so all my bike stuff resides in the garage. My tool room is out in the barn, but all my bicycle tools stay in the garage; there are a few times I wouldn't mind a workbench in the bike area, but I'm very satisfied with the setup. I wouldn't do enough indoor exercise to use a permanent TV, but I do have a seldom used fluid trainer on a shelf

Not exactly a cave, more like a foxhole! I get half of a small spare room and a parking spot in the garage for a second bike. Glad I don't have the space for a trainer, like so many others in this thread...looks like too much work even while watching the big screen!
That white bike on the wall is SO lucky...it seems to get every Winter off for R&R.

+1. I'm not a cave dweller. I love it best when the world consists of me, my bicycle, a long road, and then a neat place to camp and start over again. To each his own though! Man on.
