Soon to be a Michigander in about three months. Purchased a home in Carsonville and can't wait to be closer to home and family again. Is there a single shop in the Thumb because I didn't turn up a single thing until I got closer to Bay City/Saginaw.

Wow, not much up that way -- it's pretty rural throughout the Thumb. Port Huron is the closest city and even there I don't see much. The closest decent-looking shop is actually in Sarnia, but that introduces a lot of other problems.

Madisonian, born and raised, and I still haven't left yet. Conveniently lived at the bottom of two hills in my childhood, so that the first thing I ever learned about bikes was how to get up a hill, and how fabulous the descent can be.

Beautiful, downtown Lake Hallie, WI. There really isn't a downtown. And "beautiful" is questionable also. It's mostly flat land here except in the apple orchards region.

In St. Clair Shores, MI for the time being. Love the lake, but hate...hate...hate the east side (grew up here, it has changed for the worse in many ways). Got a junior in high school--if she moves away for college, I may follow. Nothing tying me down anymore, and that would be just the excuse to make my break away from here.

Columbus, Ohio GO BUCKEYES!!! Cavs! Indians! and the crappy Browns. haha One bad team is ok. lol O-H!

I just started riding this summer on the Olentangy Trails. I didn't realize I can get on the trail close to my house and they go all the way to Cleveland and Cincinatii. If anyone wants to ride let me know. I'm currently looking to buy a entry level bike so maybe you can help me with that. hehe

First post in a while

Reside in Rochester, Michigan. Work in Royal Oak, I do not commute via bike, but will be riding all over Southeast and Northern Michigan.

Excited to be a part of this community.

Combined Locks, WI. It is located about 15 minutes north of Appleton and 20 minutes south of Green Bay. My family enjoys riding trails. Last year we rented bikes and traveled 12 miles of the eastern portion of the south rim at the Grand Canyon That ride is what excited us to upgrade bikes for everyone as a Family Christmas present.

Saint Joseph Michigan, between exits 23 and 26. Home to the never-ending lake-effect snow, and all the crashing people who try to drive though it.

I live on the northern end of The Apple Cider Century. Wonderful hilly country up among the fruit trees and vineyards, but I prefer the flats along the lake.
