Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Where's RAD?

Although I haven't on the BF a lot lately, every time I do log on I notice he is not around. Is there any scoop? After all, he doesn't know me or even know that he is my mentor.

Well, yes there is and it's rather sad from what I hear. He'll be back better than ever though....soon enough.

You should be able to do a search and find it. However, since he has mentioned it on the open forum I guess it's okay to say. He is in the middle of a divorce so for the time being real life is a priority for him over the forum. He is still around from time to time though.

I'm here. Things are improving slowly - my new life is actually quite good but it will still be some time to get over the betrayal and through the "process". I have a brand new build I'm dying to present to the forum but haven't had a chance. I have 2 other amazing projects underway for fellow forum members that I'm beginning to sink my teeth into. Things are OK but it's still a day by day thing.

Thanks for asking - I really appreciate it.

I feel fortunate to be one of the few on here to have ridden with him and got to know him on a personal level. I've got to say that he's the real deal: a strong all-around rider, has a big heart, and those bikes of his look even better in person.

We're all pulling for you, RAD, and I hope you'll come join me on a ride again soon.
